However, they do have a few flaws however, which prevent them from being our top choice. One of the Q5's shortcomings is that its navigation system doesn't feature AI-powered obstacles avoidance. It's also prone to get stuck on socks and shoes and could not navigate rooms with lots of people efficiently during our tests. It also doesn't have a camera that can see around corners.

It's still a great deal, especially if your home or office has a lot of bare flooring and you're looking to save money. It's also very quiet and operates while you're at work or in school. The only thing it's missing that you won't find in the more expensive iRobot Roomba X30 is edge-to-edge vacuuming of floors with no floor. It's also less effective when it comes to mopping. It relies on disposable wet wipes that don't adhere well and isn't able to handle dried-on debris. The Q5 has a self-emptying dock, though. And, if you need to, you can swap the mopping pad to a dry one in just a few seconds.

2. IRobot Roomba X30

The iRobot Roomba X30 is a compact, sleek vacuum cleaner that can also mop floors. It's the most efficient robotic hoover for carpets, however it isn't as effective as some of its competitors when it comes to deep cleaning.
